What is your favourite way to celebrate nature?


Earth Day always gets us thinking about the many gifts nature provides. Whether it's a beautiful landscape, or a magnificent sky, the never ending, awe inspiring art surrounding us is one of the best parts of our days. The Earth is also one of the best source of energy to power our bodies and our imaginations. One of the simplest, most powerful ways to get this amazing energy is to walk barefoot or even lie down on some surface of the Earth - grass, sand, dirt, boulders, in water, or against a tree. This form of connection to the Earth is known to help heal physical and mental dis-eases and ailments.


Nature teaches us to admire all beauty in all forms, to accept uniqueness and non-conformity, and to just be. Through nature we see how small and interconnected we are, and how we must work co-operatively for species to thrive. With the increased time indoors due to our cultural lifestyles, it is more important than ever to take time out of our busy, indoor lives to get outside and celebrate the world around us.
