Holistic Horsemanship Workshops

Women, couples, families, and other groups create lasting memories, strengthen bonds, and learn about how our own energies relate to our interactions with horses.

Throughout the sessions we work on activities to improve internal balance, enhance grounding, as well as improve our horsemanship both on the ground and while riding. Participants generally leave feeling lighter and more connected, in tune with the other, human and horse, participants.
Day Camps & Group Activities
We offer a few different types of Horsemanship Camps and Group Activities throughout the year, ranging from 2 - 6 hrs in length. These are most commonly scheduled for Pro D Days, weekends, and during Spring, Summer & Winter breaks. Camps are great for varied levels of riders, and promote skill development and communication in a fun format for those who wants to have an equine experience!

Horse Around in Nature Camps

During these camps we explore a wide variety of horse and nature related activities including, but not limited to; caring for horses (feeding, trimming, basic first aid, bathing, etc), horse handling, and horseback riding, as well as trail riding skills such as reading a compass, making emergency shelters, and more.

Themed Horse Camps

Each day students learn about a different aspect of horsemanship, i.e. Cowboy Day, Trail Day, Show Day, Medieval Day, etc. We cover many of the skills involved from the prep and groundwork to riding.

Inspired By Horses Camps

In these camps we combine horsemanship skills with horse inspired creativity - arts, crafts, creative writing, and more. The horsemanship skills covered are great for beginners and intermediate riders.

A Horse Course & Homeschooling With Horses & Intro To Horsemanship

These four to six week programs are great for individuals who are interested in learning about horses in a group setting. We cover a different theme each week, spending 2 hrs working through theory, activities on the ground, and horseback riding.

We also offer a progressive series of camps allowing the information to adapt as students learn and grow.

Private Camps

All of the above camps, as well as Holistic Horsemanship Workshops and Equine Assisted Learning, are available to individuals and private groups. We mix and match programs to create just the right camp or group activity for you, your family, your organization, etc.
If you are interested in another type of camp, let us know and we may be able to create one to suit your needs and goals. We've done everything from groundwork only to specific types of riding to horse ownership prep for students getting ready to purchase their first horse. Camps are a great way to get out, have some fun and work on team building, family bonding, and deepening relationships.

Rainbow Riders

The Rainbow Rider Program is designed for students who want to work their way through horse theory, groundwork, and riding in a more structured way. Starting with Red, students work their way through the colours of the rainbow to earn certificates and advance through booklets and lesson plans. Each colour level includes body language, care of horse, groundwork activities, riding skills and more.
Students progress at their own pace, working through the take home booklet and a non-specified number of lessons until they have mastered the skills of each colour level. Upon completion students will be given a groundwork, riding, and oral Q&A test. These tests are low pressure, and students will only be offered the chance to do them when they are deemed ready by the instructor, and in some cases, their parents or caregivers.

We are excited to be offering something geared towards riders of all ages and ability levels. This program includes a lot of extras, taking into account relationship development between students and horses. There is no one size fits all riding lesson, and there is no one size fits all Rainbow Rider Program! We do not demand or require that students preform tasks they are not comfortable with, nor do we push students to progress just to keep them moving.
